Book page art is made from books that are old, torn, tattered and getting thrown away. Book page artist  focuses on giving these old books new life by creating original art on weathered old book pages. The books are turned from a item that is seen as waste to a unique piece of art.

Making a treasure map.

students will explore the key design elements of an old school treasure map  and become a mapmakers by using your communication skill to display information clearly and effectively on a page through drawings and words.


exploring value through still life .

students will develop an understanding of value through the range of lightness and darkness in art through still life drawing.


perspective drawing

students will learn A technique used in art to show the illusion of 3d depth on a 2d picture plane.


Watercolor art

Students will learn the ins and outs of watercolor and how to properly use it to create a cohesive work of art

Non-representational art.

students will learn about work that does not depict anything from the real world called nonrepresentational art. Nonrepresentational art may simply depict shapes, colors, lines, etc., but may also express things that are not visible– emotions or feelings for example.
